Imagine lying in a sacred grove surrounded by towering majestic redwood trees whose roots are inter-connected under your body. As you close your eyes, sound waves vibrate through your body from all directions causing you to enter states of deep relaxation. Amidst the stone boulders and pines sound waves transform your body and mind, healing and renewing you. No matter where you are on life’s journey, vibrational sound baths have something to offer you. Participants have shared a variety of experiences that include reduction of pain to spiritual awakenings.
The Logos Method is honored to host our first outdoor sound bath in the Redwood Grove at the National AIDS Memorial. This land in Golden Gate park is sacred and has been a space for individuals to grieve and memorialize those who departed this earth from AIDS. In addition, the Grove has become a special place for people to celebrate love and community in a variety of experiences.
Now the Logos Method will use this sacred beloved space to support you to nurture and rejuvenate yourself. As you close your eyes and quiet your mind, the surround sound bath will take you on a magical journey deep within.
Sound has been used in various cultures for thousands of years as a tool for healing. Sound has the ability to assist us to calm down our nervous system and shift from our sympathetic nervous system (fight or flight) into our parasympathetic nervous system. Our subtle body acts as memory storage and the sound bath accompanied with breath consciousness can help us reduce what we consciously and unconsciously hold onto, including trauma, depression, anxiety, PTSD as well as other mental and physical ailments. Sound can also help us connect to creative ideas and inspirations or tap into altered states of consciousness.
